Bring one of the following to every session

    Valid Texas Learner's Permit
    Required for all students — teens and adults — in order to operate a vehicle during any driving session. You must have your permit in hand before you can get behind the wheel.

    Valid Texas Driver's License
    Accepted for adults who already hold a license and are seeking additional training, skill building, or a refresher course.
⚠️ Don't have your permit yet? You must obtain a valid Texas Learner's Permit from your local DPS office before your driving session can begin. Sessions cannot proceed without it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a permit before booking a driving lesson?▾
Yes. A valid Texas Learner's Permit is required for all students — teen and adult — in order to get behind the wheel during any session. If you already hold a valid Texas Driver's License, that is also accepted. Sessions cannot begin without one of these two documents. Visit your local DPS office to obtain your permit before your first session.
Where do lessons take place?▾
We serve Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Prosper, Dallas, surrounding areas, and the greater DFW Metroplex. Your instructor will meet you at an agreed location. Lessons take place on real roads including residential streets, busy intersections, and highways depending on your skill level.
What kind of car will I be driving?▾
All Road Ready vehicles are modern, well-maintained, and equipped with dual controls so your instructor can intervene at any time if needed. This ensures your safety throughout every session.
Can I split my package hours across multiple days?▾
Absolutely. Your package hours never expire and can be split into as many sessions as you need. We recommend 2-hour blocks for the best learning experience, but we'll work around your schedule.
What is the rescheduling policy?▾
Rescheduling must be done at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. If you reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, a $40 rescheduling fee will apply. We understand emergencies happen — please contact us as early as possible so we can accommodate other students.
Can the 10-hour package count toward my required BTW hours?▾
Yes. Hours completed with a certified Road Ready instructor count toward your required behind-the-wheel hours. Your instructor will help you log your time correctly on the TDLR-approved log sheets.
